I'm Going Down Under!

GOOD DAY MATE! It would be a greatest dream come true to be greeted that way yeah? For a guy who has never been on a plane, no doubt this is going to be more than a dream.

My heart wants me to be in Melbourne now.

Australia is definitely a place to be to have a wonderful culinary experience. Having a passion for culinary, I would love to be given a chance to witness how magic is done through food. They produced very well known chefs like Jamie Oliver and Curtis Stone, who are successful in their shows and selling millions of their well written books. Curtis Stone started his career in Melbourne and Jamie Oliver documented Jamie’s Kitchen in Melbourne and one of the well known culinary schools, Keiser University is also situated there. Melbourne can’t be the wrong destination for me to expose myself to the Australian Culinary.

God knows how thrilling it is going to be to experience balloon flights over Melbourne and going up to Melbourne 360! I’m already dreaming about it now. It is going to be a priceless experience to discover Melbourne from a bird’s eye view and a great way to witness the beautiful place from high above. I would not want to miss Yarra River, the city's tourism and recreation heart! Through Melbourne’s water taxi, this is going to be a great way to relax your mind and at the same time having the most beautiful sight in front of your eyes.

Beside the great places, I do want to experience how life is down there. Singapore is a fast paced country and everything happens so fast down here, and from what I heard from friends in Australia, it is way different down there. Maybe find out reasons why Singaporeans are migrating there.

I have met and interact with people from Australia, and it is amazing to hear the Australian accent!*SMILES

Being in Melbourne is another step closer to seeing my one love again. Bring me to the greatest dream, bring me to Melbourne.

I met my friends at Bugis to had a sheesha session cum discussion about next week BBQ for Hakim's Farewell. Alhamdulilah that the pit was already booked and now we are only left with the foods. Hopefully, this turns out to be a successful one!

Your the direction i'll follow.

It's been months since i visited my Dad and finally today i got the chance. I'm so happy to see him and my grandmother. I'm not afraid to say this and to tell you guys the truth, I always get emotional every time i meet them. But today was really different.

Not like the other days, grandma, dad and I had a deeper conversation with each other today. She told me that she wants her grandchildren to succeed. Furthermore, with god's will, she wants at least one of us to enter the university. Watching her in tears and telling me about what's happening right now nearly made me broke into tears too.

As an older sibling, I realised and also there's something i must prove to them. Dearest dad & grandma I love you so much.

Do What You Wanna Do!

It was a month back i watched them live. Totally mind-blowing and please come back to Singapore for another concert. I miss you guys badly.

I was delighted to catch Mocca today at the Esplanade Concourse. Since i miss their performance at the outdoor theatre yesterday, i ought not to miss this one.

Filled with fruity guitar tunes with joyful lyrics to sing along with. I feel like a small chap listening to them just now, truly amazing.

Jon Chan, from Plainsunset was exceptional.

His numbers were brilliant like always but there's something he said that struck me. Quoted:

"It doesn't mean if you're in a band from Singapore, you're no good. You just need exposure. Who knows, it may not be me but you can change the scene and show it to people in 10 years time. Keep on supporting local music."

All of us can make the difference.

I need a minute on this.

First of all, there's something to smile about because i'm done with my exams and its the holidays for me!. During the examination period, i had a really bad fever but i managed to sail through it smoothly.

I wanted to apologise for the lack of updates because there's too much events going on and there's loads to talk about, seriously. On the other note, I celebrated my brother & Riyandi's birthday at Changi Beach. Its was a successful surprise and totally caught them off guard. Think about this, how about blindfolding your brother and throw him into a lorry and drove him for an hour journey to Changi. HAHA. Anyway,

Happy Belated 18th Birthday Nor Afiq & Riyandi.

Look at that, totally epic.

I was at NUS yesterday for the Elementalism/ NUS Arts Festival 2009.

Allura, The Fire Fight & The Great Spy Experiment were tight!

Besides that, its a wonderful Sunday morning and for the first time i woke up early. HAHA. I'm gonna have my breakfast at the moment, its Laksa! My grandma knows how to cook up a storm. Mosaic Music Festival later in the evening, see you go-ers there!

Currently i can't sleep because i just woke up from my 6 hours of nap.Its my exams next week and it's gonna be a long mugging weekend for me. Later!

Meet & Greet Session With The All-American Rejects.

I would like to thank Nokia for organising this event! How wonderful can it be? A free concert and also a meet & greet sessions with the band!?

The event was held outside the Heeren Mall. I reached an hour early just to play safe and luckily the queue wasn't that long. One of the security guard gave me a free All-American Rejects Album and a photo collection pass. I thought he was selling it to me but i was told the first 50 people gets a free album and have a photo taken with the band. You guys have no idea how happy I am. HAHA.

Tyson Ritter is a humurous guy.

Autograph Session.

Me & DJ Rozz from 98.7FM.

I received a free poster as well but the organizers told the crowd that we are only allowed to get a cd or either a poster signed. Bummer but its ok.

FINALLY!

SAY HELLO TO THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS PEOPLE!

They are more crazy then the crowd, shouting, screaming and acting like small kids. HAHA!

Again, i didn't come home empty handed and look at the stuff i've got.

This stuff will be put on a frame and will be hang inside my closet.

I still can believe it. Getting a group hug from the band was priceless. I really had fun. Please visit Singapore for another concert!
